Resetting an NKB1000-E
Make sure the NKB is receiving power. indicated by the screen lighting up with the words "Keyboard" showing when first powered up:
or by the date and time showing as below
To reset the NKB back to factory settings, hold down the "ESC" button on the left for 15 seconds or until the screen turns off.
Once the button is released it will reboot and you can proceed with the default password of 888888
Resetting an NKB5000(-F)
Make sure the NKB is receiving power. indicated by the screen lighting up with the log in screen showing as below:
to reset the password for the NKB5000(-F) press and hold the 3 lines icon in the bottom left for 15 seconds until you get this pop up:
click "OK" and the NKB5000(-F) will reboot and take you to an end user license agreement page, agree to the license and set up the new password.
