How to test NVR POS function with your PC

NB: The firmware version is based on the latest version when this document was created and may slightly differ from future versions, however, this will not affect any of the functionality.

Step 1: POS setting on NVR:

Go to 'POS' section. Select 'POS setting' on the left hand side. Input the IP address of your PC as the source IP.

Step 2: Add a printer to PC:

1. Go to Settings -> Printers & scanners -> Click on add a printer or scanner -> click on 'The printer that I want isn't listed'.

2. Click on 'Add a printer with manual settings' -> Create a new stand TCP/IP Port.

 

Set the IP address as the IP of the NVR. -> Config the port number to 38800.

Select the printer as Generic / Test Only type. -> Use the driver installed currently. -> Give the printer a name. -> Select 'Do not share the device'.

Click on Print a test page and you will get a message printing on the camera live view.
